Sessions

Courage starts with showing up and letting ourselves be seen.” - Brené Brown

My name is Dr. Michele Price, and I am a licensed clinical social worker who has been providing therapeutic services for the last 12 years. I obtained my master’s degree in social work from the University of Georgia in 2013 and my doctorate in social work from Tulane University, in 2025.

Human beings are resilient, and through the therapeutic process, you can find hope, healing, and peace. I strive to provide a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can feel comfortable being your authentic self. I value the therapeutic alliance, and meet clients where they are in life. I believe in taking a collaborative approach, and working together to help you achieve your goals.

I provide treatment for those who are experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, grief and loss, and co-occurring disorders. I believe in using a strengths-based approach to therapy, and I use a combination of evidence-based treatments, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT).

I specialize in treating functional neurological disorders (FND), specifically functional seizures (also known as PNES). Additionally, I have worked with clients who have epilepsy and Huntington’s Disease for over a decade.

I offer support and encouragement to my clients, and can help you to achieve your goals. Through the therapeutic process, you can become more grounded in the present moment, process things from your past, and release your fears about the future. I provide psychoeducation and teach a variety of coping skills. I hope to have the opportunity to help you on your journey, and I look forward to working with you!
