Sessions

It takes courage and strength to ask for help and to take that next step forward on your journey in life.

My name is Dr. Michele Price, and I am a licensed clinical social worker who has been providing therapeutic services for the last 11 years. I obtained my master’s degree in social work from the University of Georgia in 2013 and my doctorate in social work from Tulane University, in 2025.

My clients often say that I give them hope, and I believe that through the therapeutic process, you can find healing and inner peace. I strive to provide a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can feel comfortable being your authentic self and can share openly without fear. I value the therapeutic alliance, and meet clients where they are in life. I believe in taking a collaborative approach, and working together to help you achieve your goals.

I provide treatment for those who are experiencing stress, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, grief and loss, and co-occurring disorders. I believe in using a strengths-based approach to therapy, and I use a combination of evidence-based treatments, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT).

Additionally, I specialize in treating functional neurological disorders (FND), specifically functional seizures (also known as PNES)

I offer support to my clients in a variety of different ways, including helping them with processing things from their past, teaching them new coping skills, helping them to be more grounded and present in the moment, and finding ways to build up their self-esteem. Please feel free to reach out to me. I look forward to working with you on your therapeutic journey!
