Our Youth & Teens Team

Children
Child psychotherapy utilizes a specialized therapeutic approach tailored to the unique needs of young individuals, incorporating play, creative expression, and age-appropriate interventions to facilitate emotional expression, problem-solving skills, and healthy development, fostering resilience and well-being. Through a combination of structured techniques and compassionate support, child psychotherapy aims to empower children to navigate challenges, build confidence, and cultivate positive relationships, laying the foundation for lifelong emotional health and fulfillment.
Tweens & Teens
Tween and teen psychotherapy employs a developmentally sensitive approach, engaging adolescents through dialogue, creative expression, and interactive techniques to address their evolving emotional and social needs, fostering self-discovery, resilience, and effective coping strategies. By providing a safe and validating space, tween and teen psychotherapy supports adolescents in navigating identity formation, peer relationships, and academic pressures, empowering them to navigate the complexities of adolescence with confidence and authenticity.
Neurodiverse Populations
Counseling support for neurodiverse kids and teens is vital for their emotional well-being and social development. Tailored approaches, using evidence-based play techniques, can help them manage feelings, develop coping strategies, and build relationships. Equally important are the
Parent Support Groups, who often face unique challenges in raising neurodiverse children. Parent-focused skill building and advocacy offer valuable resources and a sense of community, empowering parents in their journey. Together, these support systems enhance the quality of life for neurodiverse youth and their families, fostering resilience and understanding. Annika has a deep passion for working with the neurodivergent population.
