Annika's Bio
Meet Annika!
Annika has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Child Advocacy and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Clinical Counseling. Her experience spans clinics, schools, in-patient programs, and family homes, supporting children, teens and adults ages with autism, dyslexia, ODD, DMDD, conduct disorder, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and ADHD.
Annika brings deep skill in supporting emotional regulation, behavioral needs, and neurodiversity, with a long-term goal of becoming an LPC specializing in child and adolescent care.
Specializing in Neurodiverse Populations
Annika specializes in supporting the neurodivergent community using psycho education, skills building, and evidence-based techniques to help kids and teens with their emotional well-being and social development.
Her tailored approach, using evidence-based play techniques, can help kids manage their feelings, develop coping strategies, and build relationships.
Equally important are support sessions for parents, who often face unique challenges in raising neurodiverse children. Parent-focused skill building and advocacy offer valuable resources, a sense of community, and empower parents along their journey.
Together, these support systems enhance the quality of life for neurodiverse youth and their families, fostering resilience and understanding.
