Bio
Charlotte earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Georgia and her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University. During her graduate training, she completed a year-long internship at an outpatient eating disorder treatment center, where she gained experience working with complex and co-occurring presentations related to eating disorders, mood disorders, trauma, and relational challenges. Through this experience, she developed a deeper understanding of how emotional, relational, and environmental factors influence mental health, strengthening her ability to provide compassionate, individualized care that helps clients build insight, emotional resilience, and healthier relationships with themselves and others.
Charlotte approaches therapy through a compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based lens while also emphasizing holistic, whole-person care. She integrates modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Relational-Cultural therapy, and mindfulness-based practices to support clients in understanding their experiences, strengthening coping skills, and creating meaningful change. She values tailoring the therapeutic process to each individual’s unique story, needs, and goals. Charlotte is passionate about creating a supportive and nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen, understood, and empowered in their healing process.
Outside of the therapy space, Charlotte enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, practicing Pilates and yoga, creating floral arrangements, gardening, and taking walks with her dog. She believes in the importance of balance, connection, and self-compassion, and she strives to help clients cultivate those same values in their own lives.
